Week 3 | Emphasis and Focal Point Assignment

| Absence of focal point There is an obvious patter and repetitive nature to the image. There is no focal point for the eye to grab on to. |

| Emphasis by Placement The three birds are very similar. The bird on the bottom however is centered in the image.  |

| Emphasis by Contrast The blue chair is a different textile from the cement in the picture. It has a different texture and smooth lines. Not only does the color make the chair draw in the eye but the texture and aesthetic are a great draw as well.  |

| One Element Every square is aligned and exactly the same. The lone black square is off alignment and lacks the same texture as the white squares.  |

| Emphasis by Isolation This person is dead center in this photo and yet completely isolated from everything. There are things in the distance but nothing up close to him.  |
